S + S House

The massing of this house, especially the roof, follows the traditional Javanese form that called Joglo. The ground floor consists of a series spaces that offer side garden and pool on the backyard. And the second one designed with 3 sides wall built in glass. The glass façade folds itself almost invisibly around the spaces and provides varying amounts of lights.

The stone combined with metal-patterned bronze fence blocking the ground view. So, the front façade that can be seen is glass wall house with Joglo roof.

The second floor is an opened floor plan that used for dining, living and pantry for the family. The main bedroom stays on the back. A full of glass in the front allow natural light to penetrate deep inside the room. A linear reflecting pool extend along front glass until the right side.
